Teaching English

At the beginning of my career I was only interested in learning English just because I liked it, because I wanted to use it for my own personal reasons. But then I realized that I was not learning just English, in fact I was learning for being an English teacher so I needed to learn the language but also to learn how to teach it. During my career I studied some subjects that in a very unclear way gave me an idea about how to treat my students when teaching them English. But know I realized that that information was not enough. Teaching in general is a very hard task nevertheless, teaching English is even harder due to the several aspects that influenced this process.
However, I find out (thanks to my teacher) that are some methods that can be very useful at the moment of teaching English as a foreign language; useful not only for the student who might learn faster with the appropriate method, but also functional for the teacher. Methods help teacher to be focused in the purpose of the lesson that is, in what teachers really want to teach and why. I realized that methodology is the key that make our work easier because it keeps us focus in our gold. Of course I know that there is not such a thing like the perfect method, but we can adapt features of different methods in order to create the perfect method for us.
